Dr. Wahl developed a regional and national reputation in the treatment, innovations, and study of high-energy, complex knee and shoulder injuries. While he enjoys treating all athletic soft tissue and bony injuries of the knee, shoulder, elbow and ankle; his specific interests include ligament reconstruction of multiple-ligament knee injuries and knee dislocations, failed ACL reconstructions, cartilage transplantation and repair, joint resurfacing in the athletic individual, osteotomies, peri-articular fracture management and failed shoulder stabilizations.  He provides comprehensive and innovative treatment options for the elite and recreational athlete; understanding that every injury and person is unique, therefore every treatment option must be uniquely tailored to the individual and their goals.
