As a Physician Assistant (PA-C) in Sports Medicine and Orthopedics for 18+ years and former certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Suzanne has a complementary breadth of knowledge of patient care in the clinical, surgical and hospital setting, operative expertise, pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, and patient education.

She worked collaboratively with Dr. Wahl for 18 years in the clinic and operating room where their synergistic approach was be compared to a soccer goalie and the defensive players, a cyclist and her bike or quarterback and his coach -- Suzanne was always finding ways to set up "the perfect shot" and assure success.  Their team approach, as husband and wife and as MD and PA, refined and augmented the patient experience; allowing for superior care that was dependable, comprehensive, safe and efficient.

In 2023, Suzanne joined Harborview Medical Center, the Pacific Northwest’s esteemed level 1 trauma hospital, helping care for hospitalized patients with traumatic and complex orthopedic injuries.
